Electric Service
Today, Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperative has grown to serve over
seven thousand accounts that stretches over 332 miles of line.
Because you own the cooperative, it is only natural that you have a
voice in its operation. Thus, you have the opportunity to determine
the leadership of the cooperative through the annual election of
members to serve on our board of directors. Mail ballots are sent out
in April of each year. We encourage you to take part in this important
process and attend our Annual Meeting of Members. You are welcome to
attend our regular Board meetings. If you would like to address the
board, it is as simple as giving advance notice to be placed on the
agenda.
